Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Programme The Leonardo da Vinci programme aims to improve the quality of vocational training systems and practices in Europe . It supports projects that develop initial and continuing vocational training in Europe in order to increase the co-operation between vocational institutions and business. The mobility measure lies within the framework of the three general objectives of the Leonardo da Vinci programme, which are: |

Continual Vocational Training: to improve the quality of, and access to, continuing vocational training in order to increase and develop adaptability to technological and organisational change; Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Training / Enterprise Cooperation: to promote co-operation between vocational training institutions, including universities, and enterprises, particularly SMEs, in order to improve competitiveness and entrepreneurship. In addition to these objectives, the Leonardo da Vinci programme gives much importance to the development of vocational guidance and counselling for the promotion of equality between men and women and facilitating access to training to those at a disadvantage. Individuals are not allowed to apply for a Leonardo Mobility grant, and should apply through the following organisations: All organisations providing initial or continuing vocational training – vocational training institutes, polytechnics, universities, adult education centres etc Enterprises, Public and Private sector establishments Non-profit making organisations and Voluntary organisations |
